| So there's the day in Palm Springs when it was like 115* outside and
Joey and I were sweating bullets. It cooked! Joey still wouldn't eat
it. Waste of a perfectly good egg. =P

******
After 4 years of thinking Clint was retarded when it came to Culinary Arts, he one day decided to prove me wrong.

I must say.... it was every bit as delicious as it looked. Cooked to absolute perfection, it was tender, juicy, and very tastey.

Teeka quickly came over to from her nice comfy spot to sit right beside
me and stare at me. She's smart. She knows how to take food off the
fork. She's so cute! I love her!

The dove nesting right outside the front door. She was so still I
walked by and thought she was fake. There's two eggs but you can't see
from the pic.

I finally got the brush I've been lemming for the longest time. I was so excited!

My prized limited edition MSFs. Gotta love em!

I <3 Abalone Shells! But after a few days of bringing them home, I
noticed they would become a bit brittle and lose their luster. I
couldn't figure out how counter that. After some experiementation to no
avail, I decided on nail polish!! You'd think there wouldn't be too big
of a difference of 99 cent nail polish and the $5 ones so I used the 99
cent bottle.... as you can see I had quite a few shells to paint. Well,
there is an obvious difference btwn dirt cheap nail polish and just
regular nail polish. The cheap kind left the shell shinnier? yes, but
not in a smooth shiny way and what bugged the most was that the shell's
interior was no longer smooth but a bit grainy. So I tried my $5 nail
polish, presto! Problem solved. And yes, I painted ALL the shells, at
some point almost passing out from the fumes. It was worth it, my
shells are pretty.

MY WAPITY!!! I finally found it a cute home!!... though she's never in there cause im always carrying her. =)

It took this product FOREVER to get to me. Stupid company never even
bothered to call me to verify. It wasn't until 2 weeks later when I was
wondering where the heck it is and finally called that they told me
'oh, we forgot to verify' and that it still wasn't sent out yet! Nevertheless I was
again when I got it. You know how the dad in My Big Fat Greek Wedding
was with the windex? Yea, well that was me with Shinning Monkey. I was
warned not to overspray but I though ehh... i won't, but you have no
idea how easy it is to get carried away with this amazing product!! I
sprayed anything and everything I could get my hands on with this:
wallets, bags, shoes, uggs, wristlets, camera cases, towels, anything
canvas or leather or suede. I went shinning monkey crazy! It wasn't
long before I realized 2/3 of the can was gone and I barely had any
left. I
shoulda bought 2 cans! LOVE IT! I don't know how I got by without it.
Oh, one thing it didn't work well on though.... my abalone shells.

House of Prime Ribs!! They raised the prices but service was stellar as always!!!
The salad had too much dressing.

House
of Prime Rib Cut. I was thinking... hurry up and take this pic so I can
dig in!!! Everything was delicious minus the fishy spinach. The creme
brulee was mouth watering. Definitely comparable to Ruth's Chris.

*****
The Hottest Shoes Ever!!
I don't know what I was thinking... I posted them up on ebay for twice
what I got them for. I was kicking myself when they actually sold. I
had to kiss these HOT SHOES goodbye.

******
One night's midnight snack. Toasted Bagel smootherd in tons of cream
cheese and layers of smoked salmon. I was going to eat the whole thing
but somehow figured I should probably only eat half. I then managed to
convince myself somewhere in between and settled on almost 2/3s.

One day I woke up feeling awful, alone, and somewhat depressed from the
weather, the move, and everything else going on. I moped and sulked
around all day feeling far from well and down in the dumps. Then...
come afternoon....

Yes! A care package! While in socal, my parents and then bf would send
me care packages which made me feel loved, comforted, and not as
homesick. Upon recieving these I would be estatic! I would feel such
happiness at the mere prospect of recieving one. I would open them only
to find lovely notes and goodies that I could easily buy myself but now
became much more special because someone had actually gone through some
effort to give them to me. I would make my week to recieve one! Often
times it's easy to forget that there are so many people who care about
you. After moving back, I never thought that I would recieve one of
these again. I'm glad to say I was wrong. Check out the Comic superhero stamps and printed out labels. Its so Clint! =P I have great friends!! Thanks guys!

A personalized cd!! My day turned awesome! It made my week! =D

Dragon Boat Festival AGoodies!

I spun the wheel SO many times to finally get what I wanted. It didn't
help that I kept changing my mind about what I wanted. The last spin
the guy asked me what I wanted and just gave it to me no matter what I
spun.

Thanks to Danny, Olivia, Ed, and myself.... we got PLENTY of sunblock
for Jinna to use. (Gosh Jinna, why are you so greedy!) This is only
half the stash pictured.

*******
This day started out AWESOME!!! I got Goodies from Target and Nordstroms....

The lady at the Nordstroms Clinique Counter was so sweet she gave me
lots of cute mini products for my trip! Check out the Facial Soap! Its
so little and cute!!! =)

The alterations guy was also superb!!! Nordstroms is always superior to
Macy's. It's always cleaner and nicer and the service is much better. I
went in around noon and asked him to kindly make sure the threading
matched the orginal as Macys gave me yucky not matching threading in
the past and I had to wait even longer for it. It wasn't until 2 weeks
after originally bringing them in did I finally get them back. And you
know your antsy to wear new jeans! This guy was so sweet! He asked me what day I needed them back and I told him I don't NEED them
back but I would be nice to get them back soon. He then informed me
that the standard time is a week (which I knew) but that he could get
it back to me sooner. I'm not too demanding so I told him I honestly
don't absolutely need them,
that he could work on it as his work load permits but if he could get
it done in 3-4 days I would be happy. Then he says to me "I'll tell you
what... how does today
sound?? How long are you going to be in the mall for?" =D Two hours
later, I left the mall with my perfectly altered jeans an exceptionally
happy customer!! He even gave me the left over fabric so I can sew a
cute pouch with it once I learn how.

I got home and made this for dinner. It doesn't look appetizing but it
is very good. Cooked to a perfect degree of spicyness. So what if it
doesn't look the way its supposed to in the resturant... I need to find
the pic I took of what it's supposed to look like.

Jinna toppped the end of this day with HULA DANCING!
******
So I was awaken this morning by Jinna calling me on the cell. I was
actually only half awaken by the ringing and didn't bother looking for
the phone. Then, she called again! The nerve! I didn't know it was her
calling and was still too asleep to do anything about it. Then, stil half alseep, I opened up one eye only to see a HUGE HUGE HUGE spider on the pillow right next to my face! I shot
outta bed faster than lightening and was instantly wide awake!! Grabbed
tons of towel paper off my desk and stepped back to my bed to
reluctantly kill it..... but it was gone. No trace of it whatsoever. AI
scratched my head and thought.... no way! Was I imaginging things? I
was still in my half asleep state at the time? Am I going crazy? I was
afraid it was on me but after close inspection it wasn't. Was I
dreaming? Either way, I couldn't go back to bed. Later in the day I was
chilling eating stawberries in bed....

.... and look what I found!!!

It looks small in the photo but believe me.... it was A LOT bigger in real life. I guess mystery solved.
*******
Ok this picture is FAR from adequate but I went the the new mall
opening in SF featuring the largets Bloomingdales in the west coast and
2nd biggest in the US. I think the Mall itself is the 3rd largest or
something like that. WAY WAY WAY bigger than South Coast. I was there
for 2 hours and covered NO ground. The first Ruehl store in northern
california opened there but I didn't even get a chance to go in. I felt
like I was dreaming! The new mall is so glamorous!! The cosmetics
section was HUGE. I couldn't even see where it ended. Everything was
spotless and absolutely new. The thousands of testers were ALL NEW!!!
The mall was PACKED.

*****
We made banana cake.

Somehow, I was convinced into driving someone to KFC after school to get popcorn chicken. =P

*********
I made mochi. It turned out looking not so great for some reason. I don't know why.

Dinner #1

Dinner #2 Might not look appetizing if your not chinese. And uhhh the
beef I just threw in there cause I didn't want to use another plate.

Dinner #3 from Cheesecake Factory. It was yummy.

And for the icing on the cake.... COKE! I haven't had soda for SO long
since moving back. No one in this house buys soda but me. Half the
packs already gone in 2 days though. Bleh, shoulda got more.

I'm never drinking this at night. I drank two cans and couldn't fall asleep till 4am. =T
Threres more but im tired now. Ill do the rest later.

| Yay! Clint got into a masters program at SDSU. Now, I feel inspired to do something.

| Okay, okay. I'm updating. So yesterday us bio people went to Elephant
Bar. Not bad, reasonably priced, but the tri-tip sirloin was
eh.... I could do better. I like how we all asked each other what we
did for Valentine's Day but none of us did anything. Highlights of the
night:
- the nice soft fluffy sword in the coldstone cake
- apparently Brent is the deepest dark hole (haha it wasnt even me that commented this time)
- Clint's 'four play' giftbox... get it FOUR play?... haha. ok. fine. only I would find humor in that.
- Clint winning 1,000 tickets at Dnbs.... what are the chances of
that?!?! Birthday luck I say!! you still should have got the spinner
chain necklace for 440 tickets.
-Us trying to figure the bill out and Linda dipping the bill in cake and franticly wiping it off and dipping it in again.
Ok. We're getting old. We all left dnbs at 10:30 right in time for bedtime. Hey, at least we get better at math every year...

| I think this past week has been one of the most stressful weeks I've had in a long time. Things I've learned:
1. The bio office is incredibly unsympathetic.
2. Read the fine lines.
3. After four years at UCI, none of us can think of anything to do in Irvine on a Thursday night.
4. Boomers closes at 9pm.
5. I'm getting old. I was out with friends and after dinner at 8:30pm I find myself too tired to go to ktown.
6... the most depressing of all things learned... I'm going to have to move home soon, permanently.
